The mission of the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce is to mobilize the business community to build economic success in central Indiana.

The Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit, member-based organization founded in 1890 by Colonel Eli Lilly and a group of Indianapolis business leaders. The Chamber is the voice of progress and improvement for the central Indiana business community.
