Project Purse Indianapolis Hosts Holiday R&R Event with Donation Drive

Indy Chamber News Archives

INDIANAPOLIS – Local nonprofit, Project Purse Indianapolis, will host their first R & R event at The Hatch in Broad Ripple on Sunday, Dec. 4 from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Also a product drive for the women-focused organization, the R & R event is to serve as a restorative lounge during the hectic holiday season and features a variety of activities included in the $25 ticket price.

“We wanted people to have a place to get some reprieve after the Thanksgiving holiday as we head into the busy holiday season,” says Project Purse Founder Chelsea Marburger. “The Hatch is such a great space and we really want to showcase what this co-working, event space has to offer while offering a unique experience to our guests – all while collecting donations for our cause!”

Throughout the space, guests can receive a hand massage from Aqua Serene Wellness, instruction at our Braid Bar from local hair stylists, as well as access to three yoga courses taught throughout the day (11:15am, 12:15pm, & 1:15pm). All of this PLUS complimentary food and drink – and ambiance provided by Posh Petals - are included in the $25.00 ticket price.

Guests are strongly encouraged to bring (new) product donations for Project Purse Indianapolis including: travel size shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothbrushes, toothpaste, baby powder, Vaseline™, maxi pads, tampons, lip balm, capped pens, pocket organizers, & first aid items.

Participating vendors include:
