Axia Technology Partners Offering Network Security Seminar for Indianapolis-Area Financial Institutions

INDIANAPOLIS (June 14, 2016) — Axia Technology Partners (AxiaTP), a leading national provider of IP technology solutions based in Indianapolis, is launching a series of seminars designed to inform and educate those responsible for protecting critical financial and business data. 

The first seminar, scheduled for June 23 at 11:30 a.m. at Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse, is designed exclusively for financial institutions and will focus on the current state of banking, credit union and financial network security, including an overview of possible attack vectors and the tactics and technologies available to help mitigate their risks.

“Cyber security is an ongoing challenge for every business in every industry,” said Josh Ross, co-founder and managing partner at AxiaTP. “This is especially true for financial institutions due to the nature of data they possess and manage. Our goal for these seminars is to promote safe practices and policy structures for cyber-attack prevention and risk mitigation.”

The seminar will feature an expert in ethical hacking from CheckPoint Software Technologies who will discuss various threats along with threat prevention and appliance mitigation. 

Additionally, representatives from both federal and local law enforcement will be on hand to discuss the latest threats published by state and federal law enforcement agencies. 

Additional seminars are planned for July 28 and Aug. 25.
