Indy Chamber Offers New TogetHR™ Program to Help Small- to Mid-Sized Businesses Thrive

The Indy Chamber announced today the launch of TogetHR, a program that bundles comprehensive HR services with a complete line of employee benefits, all aimed at helping small- to mid-sized companies streamline HR processes and grow their businesses.

Indy Chamber members can now join the TogetHR program, which allows companies to cost-effectively partner with locally based Tilson, a leading Professional Employer Organization (PEO), for the management of many HR functions. The partnership with Tilson provides a larger employee pool, so smaller companies can access large-group pricing for a breadth of valuable HR services and products, including health insurance and many other employee benefits.

“TogetHR is truly missional for the Indy Chamber,” said Melissa Cotterill, Chief Operating Officer of the Indy Chamber. “We’ve worked hard to develop a program that addresses many of our members’ top pain points and allows business leaders time to focus on what they do best – growing their business.”

TogetHR enables small- and mid-sized companies to offer competitive employee benefits at large group pricing, access technology for paperless employee onboarding, information tracking, and benefits enrollment; and relieves the daily burden of administering HR functions, such as payroll and government reporting.

“With TogetHR, the Indy Chamber delivers a more comprehensive business solution than our existing ChamberCare discount program. TogetHR helps participating companies save time and money and brings major added-value to chamber membership,” Cotterill said. “We believe this will not only resonate with our current members, but will also stir interest among savvy business owners across central Indiana.”

TogetHR is believed to be the first chamber-sponsored program of its kind in the state and possibly the nation.

“Companies that use PEOs tend to grow faster, have lower employee turnover and are less likely to go out of business,” said Brent Tilson, president and CEO of Tilson. “The combination of an Indy Chamber membership and the TogetHR program will appeal to many business leaders. TogetHR allows CEOs to realize the full potential of their investments in human resources…as they need, when they need it.”

The Indy Chamber selected locally based Tilson after a thorough evaluation of many of the top local and national PEOs. Tilson serves clients in Indiana and 48 other states and provides HR services related to payroll, recruitment, training, benefits, regulatory compliance, risk management and talent retention.

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, the Indy Chamber’s partner for 27 years, will administer health and vision benefits for the TogetHR program. Delta Dental will provide dental insurance, Lincoln National will provide disability and life insurance, and VOYA will offer worksite insurance.
