NEW in 2007!! - Main Street Institute

The Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Indiana University's Kelley School of Business to offer Main Street Institute, a year-round series of seminars and other tools that will provide you with the latest in business education. This series of monthly workshops and educational programming includes topics such as sales and marketing, customer relations and managing growth.

Business After Hours
Our most popular monthly networking event, Business After Hours gathers up to 350 professionals each month in a casual atmosphere.

IPL Power Networking

This bi-monthly, structured networking breakfast allows you to make one new contact every two minutes.

Lunch/Breakfast with the Chamber President

Have lunch or breakfast with Chamber President Roland Dorson and a small group of professionals. Share information about your business and discuss issues affecting businesses in central Indiana.


Pancakes & Politics
Pancakes & Politics is a quarterly political breakfast series, sponsored by Baker & Daniels, featuring prominent speakers, policy analysts and political experts specializing in issues on the local, state and federal levels. This is a complimentary event for Chamber members only.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Sam's Club Business Tradeshow

In its 9th year , this annual event gathers more than 1,500 attendees and 150 exhibitors. The Tradeshow has grown to be Indianapolis’ premier tradeshow. Attend or showcase your products and services. Thursday, May 10; 4-7:30 p.m.; Indiana Convention Center's Sagamore Ballroom, 100 S. Capitol Avenue.

Connexion

Connexion is an event of the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce's Hispanic Business Council. Business professionals attend for unique networking opportunities over food and drink, to learn about the Council's resources available to the Hispanic business community. Time and date for the 2007 Connexion is to come. Check back often.

Business at the Brickyard
Maximizing golf as a business tool is the name of the game at the Business at the Brickyard. This full-day event for area business professionals includes breakout skills clinics, seminars led by golf pros and instructors, golf scramble with local business celebrities, golf school for business golfers of all levels and a post-event awards party. Wednesday, July 25; all-day event; Brickyard Crossing Golf Resort.

HobNob: Meet the Candidates
HobNob brings together the business community with political candidates, and is also open to the public. Patterned after old-time political festivals, HobNob is your chance to rub elbows with central Indiana’s movers and shakers, meet the candidates face to face, learn more about the political process and make educated choices as you vote. Thursday, Sept. 20; 5-8 p.m.; Indiana State Museum.
